Add your own time of day to a countdown
It's cool being able to countdown to when a day starts, but as far as I'm aware there's no way to countdown to an exact time during a day, like 3:30pm on 7th of December as a random example.

Countdown widget for embedding in other websites / blogs
This is a beautiful count down website. Is there a way to embed one of these count-downs into my website?
21 votesSorry, there isn’t any way to embed the countdowns at the moment, but we will be working on this in the near future.

Personalise the look of a countdown - colours, fonts etc.
It would be great if you were able to choose the design of the countdown timer, like colours for text+numbers and background, and abitlity to change the font? Thanks!

Show the number of days/time from a date other than now
I used the site for finding the number of days from today to a given date, and it is fantastic for that :-)
Now I want to find out the number of days from 16th November 2014 to the same future date, but it appears the site can't do this. This may not be a often used feature, but it would be useful.
16 votesHi Charlie,
Thanks for the suggestion.
We have already added a very basic ability to do this, but haven’t yet given users an easy way to access it.
If you want a quick way to get the days, you can enter an address in the web browser:
http://days.to/{date}/{year}/from/{date}/{year}
i.e.
http://days.to/17-nov/2014/from/16-nov/2014The date part will understand most date formats.
If you’re already viewing a countdown to a particular date then you can just add “/from/16-nov/2014” to the end of the address in your browsers address bar.
Just to warn you, the number of days shown is calculated from the end of the start day (23:59) to the start of the end day (Midnight).
If you want to know the number of days from a particular time of day to the same time of day on the other date, you will need to add one day.
We will try and provide an…

Use your own title/description for an event
I think that an easy way to customize an event, without having to persist the details per user, would be to use query parameters to customize the event. For example, if I wanted to create a countdown to the Anthem 5K Fitness Classic, a road race in Louisville, KY and the start of the Louisville Triple Crown of Running, I could specify the following URL:
http://days.to/until/7-march?description=Anthem%205K%20Fitness%20Classic
This would display the countdown as it does today, but would display the specified description as well. I am sure that other query parameters could be specified to expand the possibilities.
